Art in Bloom is off to a full swing today at Bath Garden Center and Nursery . I am so amazed at the many talented designers and florists that Fort Collins has to offer! Stop by between 12 – 3 and have some local food and entertainment with David Michael Boyd on his acoustic guitar. Don’t forget it is also time to think about your garden! Jessy wanted a natural looking bouquet, but full and romantic. She had also given me a piece of her Grandmother’s Lace from her wedding gown  to incorporate into the hand tied wrap. I think this is my favorite bouquet of the season, I just love it. I couldn’t put it down after I finished it.

James didn’t want a traditional boutonniere, he wanted fun and berries, and we gave him fun and berries! The other personal floral pieces echoed that same feel of the overall look, I call it “Botanica”  :)

One of the corsages, wrapped in chocolate brown velvet, with champagne lace tie. The Flower Girl wore an adorable halo made with green dendrobium orchids. She looked so pretty.

Guests were greeted by two large birdcages overflowing with flowers and curly willow.

The weather was perfect, and the setting was everything Jessy and James wanted. It was magical. A beautiful ceremony for a truly beautiful couple

First up, a super cute table top flower dress designed out of Winter Kale, Roses, Mums, moss, and embellishments. I thought that this piece would be the perfect addition for a bridal shower or special event, such as the trunk show at Dora Grace.

Next up, a full size bridal gown created with Greenery, Baby’s Breath, Amaryllis, and over 300 Swarovski crystals:

The awesome back view complete with an organza train, and a dipping v- back, ooo la la

Here is  a close up of the front neck line, little clumping crystal flowers adorned the entire front and back hidden among the boxwood.

Nature’s Grace Design and Bath Nursery have teamed up again for an exciting event  March 2 – 4: Art in Bloom. What is Art in Bloom? Art in Bloom features local Fort Collins artists and pairs them up with a fabulous, local Fort Collins floral designer to re create their art piece in floral imagery. We have 10 pieces to display, and this is a FREE event. On Saturday, March 3, we are featuring the acoustic magic of David Michael Boyd, check him out on iTunes, from noon – 3 pm and yes there will be some snacking goodies too! The pieces will be on display Friday through Sunday. I hope you can make it out, it will be a treat to all your senses! ~ Ria

Charity’s beautiful bouquet of white calla lilies. The swarovski picks are lightly scattered in her bouquet to add a pop of chartreuse

Here, the pomanders were placed all around the ceremony site  and among the boulders. We added a little crystal bling knowing they would be on the reception tables later.

Here is the same pomander from the ceremony placed on top of a polish crystal vessel. As you can see, we love candle light so there are at least 9 different sized votives on each table.

The 4′ tall manzanita tree centerpieces. The bases were covered with green sphagum moss and then adorned with huge antique green hydrangeas, green salal leaves and Black Magic roses.

Adding more candle light to the event, we hung up to 5 hanging votives in each tree. Thee room was enchanting!

Candles can be amazing on their own. This grouping greeted the guests on a lovely sideboard as they entered the reception

We had fun with the cakes too! Each cake was a different size and was placed a top a flower filled cylinder vase
